While I didn't enjoy the storyline as much for this second book in the Together We Fall series, I did grow to like the characters more as their personalities seemed to fill in with more depth as we learned some backstories. The Light We Seek also had more typos, which I found distracting. There seems to be a lack of romantic connection between a few of the various men and Addie. It could be that there are too many men, early on, or the plot is moving so quickly the writer feels too much detail would spoil the pacing--I see the banter and caring, but not why they'd be attracted to each other. Good writing (if you ignore the typos) and the story got better as the plot progressed.
A great follow up to The Darkness We Crave. I really enjoyed the banter between Addie and the guys. There's definitely a lot going on in this book, plot-wise, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I think Katie May did a good job with character development, especially when we learn how Addie and Calax first met. I can't wait to hear about the rest of the guys' histories. Great book in a great series. Looking forward to the next one!
Katie May is an automatic buy for me! I don't often buy books and rarely give 5 stars, but this one is totally worth it. The characters are amazing and have depth. The storyline is fast and interesting. So happy with how things are progressing and really, really want book 3!!!
Great addition to the series! We get to see more of the guys and their personalities as well as a better understanding of Addie and her past. I can’t wait until they finally get to Atlanta- I have so many questions!!!I love the authors take on a zombie apocalypse. These aren’t regular zombies and don’t become zombies in a way you would expect.
Apocalyptic. Rh. 7 guys. Slowburn. Addie and the guys are off to Atlanta. With the Super storms still happening and Racers running about. Looooooove it. Want more.
Awesome new series
I was anxious to read this second book and it didn't disappoint. Love the writing style.
